THEN, BY ALL MEANS, GET SOME GODFIDENCE!

Perhaps you are even in a crisis right now, a big crisis. “Crisis” plus “weary” is not good. Not a good combination for anyone, especially a parent of a troubled child. Perhaps life has hit you hard, and you feel confused and lost like you live in endless chaos. If that’s you, you are not alone. But don't expect to stay there, we can help!


Based on your past experience, you know that to get through your current crisis, you must have plenty of strength and power, or you'd better have plenty of outside help.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

But what are you supposed to do when you are beat up and tired, and another crisis hits, and you are not even past the current crisis, and there's no one to turn to?

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

What do you do when you find yourself going from one crisis to another, and you don't have time or energy to think about "rest," or to even come up with a plan or to ask for help. Basically, what do you do when you are just surviving? What do you do?

We say, "Get GODFIDENT and Turn to God!" Jesus is the only answer!Sometimes it does seem as though you have nothing but chaos in your life. As you get one thing figured out or solved another 5 crises pop up. What do you do when you find yourself tired, unable to cope, and you are out of resources. You need help just to catch up, catch your breath and start afresh. What do you do?

"God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:28-31

Sometimes we have nothing but chaos in our life. As we get one thing figured out or solved; another 5 crises pop up. Our choice is to believe the word of God or believe our circumstances. Believe the word of God and acknowledge how blessed we are, or give in to victimhood and complain about "another crisis!"

"Looking at his disciples, he said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." Luke 6:20

What do you do when you find yourself tired, unable to cope, and out of resources. You need help to breathe, and you can't seem to get started afresh. What do you do? We say, "there is not a better time to double-down in faith!"

"This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us." 1 John 3:19-24

Let us give you a fair warning. If you continue reading this post, you will be learning from people who have actually lived this particular journey of faith, and they walked the walk and survived. Not only did they survive, but they also thrived.

"This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access (GODFIDENCE) through faith in Him.... so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. In other words, Godfident people have something amazing to share with all those who are weary and seem lost. But, keep in mind, our message is biased. Meaning, we are believers in Jesus Christ, and we believe He alone can save us.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2God made him who had no sin to be sin so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

We placed all of our Godfidence in Jesus, knowing we are the righteousness of God in Christ. And, having failed on our own understanding, we now have absolute Godfidence in the absolute goodness of God!

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8

God’s Presence Impacts Everything

The number one important source of life for every individual, organization and realm (earthly or heavenly) can be found only in our Father’s presence. Our intimacy with Him allows us to know His heart with clarity, period. Without intimacy, it's tough to know what God has called you to do without being in His presence.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24

We can’t be Godfident unless we spend time with Him in His presence. Daily. His children, you and I are led by His Spirit, not by our souls, so we need to always be near Him, with Him, and in Him.

"that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:16-20

Jesus alone saves. It is the Grace of God, which is Jesus, that saves us. It's His Word, His faithfulness, and His mercy alone. There is nothing higher in authority than Jesus and His word.

"pray without ceasing," 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Plus, we know that as Children of God, we have the mind of Christ, and therefore, all mystery has been revealed. Therefore, we are Godfident because we believe we already have everything about Godliness.

"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints," Ephesians 1:17-18

There is nothing hidden that cannot be uncovered by the Spirit of Truth, which is within us. Therefore, we know everything about the Father’s redemptive solution for humanity’s needs - which is in Jesus alone.

"to whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27

When in crisis or not, turn to God and seek Him with all your heart, mind, and soul. Seek the Grace of God, Jesus, who is our Faith, and set your mind upon Him and the things above, and trust in Christ alone and live in supernatural peace that goes beyond your understanding.
