THE PROMISE: IF YOU SEEK GOD’S GUIDANCE, HE WILL OFFER IT DAY BY DAY

"Morning by morning He wakens me and opens my understanding to His will. The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me, and I have listened." Isaiah 50:4-5 NLT

The Bible promises that if we spend time with the Lord every morning, He will set the tone and provide direction for the day ahead. Isaiah 50:4-5 was talking about the same Miracle Morning that you do today over 2,000 years ago!

Every new day is a gift from the Creator, a gift that allows you to say thank you by spending time with the Giver. When we begin the day with our bibles open, and our hearts attuned to our heavenly Father, we are inevitably blessed by the promises we find in His word. Atonement means mindfulness and awareness of others…in this case, God almighty.

During the quiet moments we spend with the Lord, He guides us; He leads us, and He touches our hearts. These are precious moments that contribute to our spiritual growth. We need our daily devotions.

There are 1,440 minutes in your day. That is the same for every person you meet or know in the school today. The difference is in how you spend your minutes. God deserves a few of them. And you deserve the experience of spending a few quiet minutes every morning with your Creator.

So, if you haven’t already done so, establish the habit of spending time with God every day of the week. It’s a habit that will charge your day. If you change enough days…your life changes with it. When you give the Lord your undivided attention, everything changes, including you.

“Think of this-we may live together with Him here and now, a daily walk with Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.” - Elisabeth Elliot

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, help me hear Your direction for my life in the quiet moments of each day. Let everything that I say and do be in Your perfect will. Amen.
