BE GRACE TO YOUR WORLD!

Let's face it, we "screw up" sometimes, we all do, or at least I do. I have plenty of missteps, often before I leave my house in the morning. I've been known to get mad and angry and say things I later regret. I can be very judgemental and very critical of others. You'd never know it because I keep 99% of my critical judgments of others to myself (if I didn't, I wouldn't have any friends). And, there is that other thing… the self-condemnation thing. I am much more judgmental of myself than others… Man-o-man, I can be brutal on myself. The critic in my mind is my worst enemy, and he makes me weary. But, like you, I require God's GRACE and Mercy ALL THE TIME. I am trying to say that when I "screw up," I feel horrible and beat myself up. So the big question is, "How do I restore God's grace once I lost it?"

2 Corinthians 5:21 - "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

GET THIS! We can't lose Grace; it's just not possible! Grace is the unearned and unmerited FAVOR of God! You can't earn it, so you can't lose it!

John 14:16 - "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;"

There's no need for the restoration of Grace because Jesus already restored Grace! IT'S DONE, AND IT CAN'T BE UNDONE!

Hebrews 12:2 - "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The problem is, very few people truly believe that Jesus, through Grace, came once and restored all things, making us right with God forever.

John 6:40 - "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day."

Based on the irreversible love of Jesus, nobody is going to convince me that the God who gave up His own only Son for me, sacrificing EVERYTHING to forgive me of all my sins and iniquities, the God who took on all of my sicknesses and diseases, would EVER remove His Grace from me.

1 Peter 2:24 - "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."

Jesus' purpose was to bring salvation through Grace, and He did, at a great price. So why would He then take Grace away, for any reason?

Matthew 26:28 - "for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins."

Removing Grace for any reason makes no sense at all.

2 John 1:3 - "Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love."

There's just no way! Jesus suffered cruel, sadistic physical torture AND endured the shame of the cross FOR ME AND YOU, to give us life!

1 Peter 1:2 - "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you."

Jesus did all of this so that we could have abundant everlasting life and eternal peace with God. Once eternal peace is given, how can it be taken back? Why would it be taken back?

Hebrews 2:9 - "But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of His suffering death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone."

So, there is no way He's going to go through all of that just to take Grace away from us later. That's not how Jesus is. So, if anything, Jesus will double down and give us Grace! Grace! We can’t lose Grace, it’s just not possible! There’s no need for the restoration of Grace, because Jesus already restored Grace! IT’S DONE AND IT CAN’T BE UNDONE! Hebrews 12:2 -

2 Peter 1:2 - "Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,"

And, Jesus gave me an everlasting life while I was yet a sinner!

Romans 5:8 - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

There is no way I deserve God's grace, quite the opposite.

1 Peter 1:2 - "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you."

Remind me again… why would Jesus withhold His Grace from me? He wouldn't!

2 Corinthians 4:15 - "For all things are for your sakes, so that grace, having spread to more and more people, will cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."

Tell me, what could possibly cause Jesus to remove His Grace from me after suffering so much to give it to me?

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life."

No way, Grace is a GIFT, and GIFTS are not taken away! I don't buy it. Our Heavenly Father loves us too much. I wonder what the Scriptures say about it?

Matthew 8:17 - "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."

I realize that many people feel guilty, are full of shame, and want Grace restored; it seems logical. I don't blame them, but they need to wake up and realize that they have already been redeemed, once and for all, making it permanent! We can't lose God's Grace; we can only turn from it or reject it. Yet, even when we are rejecting Grace, Grace sticks around and never leaves.

Romans 10:3 - "For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God."

When people are looking to restore God's GRACE in their lives, they are really trying to absolve themselves of guilt, shame, and condemnation. Well, the problem is, they never lost the Grace of God in the first place. Can't restore something that was never lost. They never lost His Grace and never will, but they need to receive it and know by faith they have it, permanently, forever!

Ephesians 1:18 - "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,"

Don't buy into the lie! GRACE is not something we can lose. We can reject it, or it can be ignored, but it's always with us and will never forsake us.

Romans 3:24 - "being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;"

GRACE is not a feeling or an emotion or behavior; it's none of these things. Jesus is Grace!

John 1:17 - "For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ."

GRACE created the universe, and everything in it, including you and I. GRACE, is the absolute goodness of God.

2 Corinthians 13:14 - "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all."

The truth is that we can't lose GRACE, so therefore it can't be restored. It's already been restored by Jesus. Jesus is GRACE, and GRACE is Jesus. Therefore, GRACE does not come and go, He is eternal, and His love for us is everlasting!

Titus 3:7 - "so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

Jesus came to save us and to give us eternal life, and we did not deserve it. Nevertheless, Jesus agreed to be the plan of salvation before the foundation of the world. This plan of salvation is the evidence of God's absolute love through GRACE.

Hebrews 13:8 - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

Jesus does not leave us, desert us, or hide himself from us, ever. Just the opposite.

Hebrews 13:5 - "Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,"

Besides, Jesus already provided everything we would ever need in this life and the one to come. It's already done. Therefore, He will never leave us. Jesus is permanent.

Romans 8:39 - "nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
