Greater Love Requires Greater Sacrifice

In this world, we all will suffer. If we live our life seeking fullness, joy, love, peace, and find the love of Jesus, we will still suffer. Well, guess what? Those who don't have Christ in their heart suffer too. All people suffer, but only BELIEVERS are promised that God will redeem suffering, which means Christians make their suffering count.

“To all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” John 1:12

So, the way I see it, our job is clear. If we are willing... Our job is to take on the sufferings of Christ by sharing the Gospel and testifying to the grace and mercy and magnificent love of God, especially to those who do hate us and despise us, and those who don't deserve our love - just like Jesus did.

"This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering." 2 Thessalonians 1:5

"praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned;" Colossians 4:3
