We Have The Renewed Mind, the MIND OF CHRIST

We ALSO get the renewed mind, the mind of Christ, which is in the HEART OF GOD. 

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2 

WE ARE COMMANDED TO PUT OFF THE OLD MAN (dead Adam) and put on the new man, Jesus, by Faith. We are new creations IN CHRIST, Holy, blameless, clean, made whole, and ALL BY GRACE. Grace is the ABSOLUTE GOODNESS of GOD.

“that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Ephesians 4:22-24 

The HOLY SPIRIT TRANSFORMS US into HIS IMAGE, working from the INSIDE and working OUT the transformation through FAITH. FAITH, who is Jesus, already did the FULL WORK, and we RECEIVE HIS FULL BENEFITS through FAITH, who Jesus is.

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is about DYING TO SELF, PICKING UP YOUR CROSS, and following JESUS. The KINGDOM of GOD is about BECOMING LOVE, being TRANSFORMED BY HIS LOVE, becoming LIKE HIM, LOVE, and being found made in HIS IMAGE.

"Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:14

Any attempt to improve the flesh by ANY MEANS is demonic. Any attempt to use HUMAN WISDOM to improve our BEHAVIOR is from the father of lies, satan. 

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44

Any attempt to tame and restrain the flesh, improve it, and make it behave BETTER is from an ANTI-CHRIST, and it typically glorifies the devil. If you are doing this, STOP IT! 

"so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.... which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words." 1 Corinthians 2: 5,13

"He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5
