THE PROMISE: THE PROMISE OF ABUNDANCE

"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10 NKJV

The Bible promises that God’s abundance is available to you. He offers His blessings, but He doesn’t force them upon you. To receive them, you must trust His promises and follow, as closely as we can, in the footsteps of His Son. But the world tempts you to do otherwise. The world tempts you to descend into fits of pessimism and doubt. And the world bombards you with a never-ending assortment of time-squandering distractions and wallet-draining temptations.

Everywhere you turn today, someone or something will compete for your attention, trying to convince you that you are entitled to this or entitled to that. Beware!!! You are entitled to nothing.

The best in life is earned, never given. Genuine peace and spiritual contentment are not for sale at any price. Real abundance is never obtained through worldly possessions. How many pashmina’s or ultra definition TVs do you need? Real abundance can only be found through a genuine relationship with God.

Are you a woman who seeks the abundant life that Jesus promises in John 10:10? Then turn your life and your heart over to Him. When you do, you’ll receive the love, the peace, and the abundance that can come only from accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, You are God. I am not. Your name is holy. You have offered me the gift of abundance through Your Son. Thank You, Father, for the abundant life that is mine through Christ Jesus. Let me accept His gifts and use them always to glorify You. Amen.
