THE PROMISE: THE LORD SHOWERS BLESSINGS UPON THE RIGHTEOUS

"Blessings crown the head of the righteous." Proverbs 10:6 NIV

The Bible promises that God bestows His blessings upon those who honor His commandments and follow in the footsteps of His only begotten Son. And that’s a promise God always keeps.

So, as believers who have been richly blessed-now and forever-we should make gratitude a habit, a regular part of our daily routine.

But sometimes, amid the demands and obligations of everyday life, we may allow the interruptions and distractions of that everyday life to interfere with the time we spend with God.

Have you counted your blessings today? Do you even know what that means? You may hear it and you may say it and yet you have no idea what that means.

It means Guiding Principle #9: “counting your blessings” means to make a special effort to speak gratitude into every day. Be grateful for all of God’s gifts.

They include your family, your friends, your talents, your opportunities, your possessions, and the priceless gift of eternal life. How glorious are these gifts, and God is responsible for every one of them.

So today, as you go about your duties and responsibilities, pause and give thanks to the Creator of. He deserves your praise. And, quite frankly, you deserve the experience of praising Him. Are you willing? Are you unwilling? The choice is yours.

My choice is to praise Him. I am a Christ-centered, adventuresome, grateful, generous, and reliable child of God! How are you?

“Oh! What a Savior, gracious to all,
Oh! How His blessing round us fall,
Gently to comfort, kindly to cheer, sleeping or waking, God is near.” - Fanny Crosby

Our Prayer: Dear Lord, I have more blessings than I can possibly count; make me mindful of Your precious gifts. You have cared for me, Lord, and You have saved me. I will give thanks and praise You always. Today, Father, let me share Your blessings with others, just as You first shared them with me. Amen.
